Marksville Housing Authority’s applicants are housed on their position on the waiting list as per compliance with Equal and Fair Housing. The applicant position on the waiting list is determined by their family composition.

Applicants must be certain criteria to be eligible for housing. You will be placed on a waiting list following your application.

Criminal History Evaluation

Applicants must not have a recent record of violent, or drug related criminal activity or sex offender.

Zero Balances with Housing Authorities

Applicants must not owe rent or have any balances with any Public Housing Authority or any landlord governed or ungoverned by HUD.

No Section 8 Vouchers

Marksville Housing Authority does not handle Section 8 Vouchers. We are not affiliated with the program at this location.
